Erasmus programs

Flags - Copyright Università degli Studi di TorinoThe University of Torino has joined the Erasmus program since its beginning. At the moment, our institution has more than 1,000 bilateral agreements with almost all European countries involved in the program. Spain, France, Germany, Portugal and United Kingdom are the most requested countries. Hundreds of students are exchanged every year.

The University of Torino has also joined the Erasmus Traineeship program, sending and welcoming students to intern in foreign companies and institutions for a minimum of 2 months.

All our incoming International students (Erasmus, Erasmus Traineeship students and all the students joining exchange programs with single Departments and Schools) are offered several services at the University of Torino, such as orientation sessions, information packages, free Italian language courses, the university restaurants cards and many more.

The Erasmus+ programme

The Erasmus+ programme aims to support actions in the fields of Education, Training, Youth and Sport for the years 2014-2020. Erasmus+ replaces seven former programmes, encouraging students, trainees, staff and volunteers to improve their skills and employability in a foreign country. It will support organisations to work in transnational partnerships and share their achievements in the fields of education, training and youth. The new sport action will support projects and challenges such as raising awareness and defeating match-fixing, doping, violence and racism.
